Dropoff / Pickup Info

Parking Lot: Drop Off/Pick Up~  All students need to be dropped off and picked up in the side parking lot until further notice.  Due to construction on Creston Road, we cannot impede the flow of traffic on Creston Road, and using the front parking lot will increase back up onto Creston road.  I like to call it  Valet drop off and pick up.  We have caring staff members who will help escort your child from your car for pick up or assist at drop-off.  Please do not get out of your car if you are in the pick-up line. If you want to go and get your child, please park.   Our amazing staff is here to assist - please shower them with love and appreciation. Thank you for your understanding. 

 

The campus will be locked during school hours, and visitors will need to call the front office if they come to school during school hours.  We understand this may be an inconvenience, but your child’s safety is one of our priorities.

 

New this year: 

  • Mindful Morning: The side gate will open at 7:45 am.   Students will walk to their classrooms, put their backpacks down, and then walk to the blacktop.  All students will participate in a guided morning walk to help focus our minds and prepare for the day. The first bell rings at   7:55 am, and we will stop and line up for morning announcements.  You are welcome to join us if you would like. 

  • Breakfast: Pifer is piloting a breakfast program this year.  We will serve breakfast from 7:30-7:40.   After 7:40 students will not be able to join due to time constraints.  I understand this is a tight window, but we need to ensure students have plenty of time to eat before the start of the day. We will monitor and adjust this new program to meet our students' needs.  Students will be dismissed from breakfast at 7:45.

    • Students who receive breakfast will need to bring a snack for nutrition as they will not be able to receive a second breakfast.  If you need help with snacks for your child, please contact the office and speak with Mrs. Ruiz.  

    • Again this is a new option for our school, and we may have a few bumps along the way, but we can work them out together.  

    • Students getting breakfast in the morning will need to be dropped off in front of the school.  Only students who are getting breakfast may be dropped off in the front.  Please do not drop your child off any earlier.
